Facts and figures for Casino Niagara, the original Niagara Region Casino.
Casino Niagara is located at 5705 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON (Map)
Gaming
Casino Niagara has over 95,000 sq ft of gaming space that offers 70 tables, 1,700 slots and video poker games and a poker room.
Casino Niagara offers the following table games: Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Roulette, Spanish 21, Sic Bo, Midi Baccarat, Let It Ride, Texas Bonus Hold'em, & Three Card Poker. Limits range from low to high limit.
Casino Niagara's poker room is open 24hrs and has 15 tables. The room spreads Texas Hold'em (Limit & No Limit), Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, and 7 Card Stud. It's a very comfortable room with 5 42" plasmas usually set to sports. The room can be contacted directly at 905.353.7000 and reservations can be placed. For tournaments they have "All-In Tuesdays". (Anyone interested in tournaments should consider Seneca Niagara Casino across the bridge as the Canadian casinos are sorely lacking in this area.)
Casino Niagara offers numerous options for slot players with over 1,700 machines ranging from pennies to $100 a pull. Over 350 of their machine are attached to progressive jackpots with their Megabucks© jackpot starting at $1 million. Similar to most slots these days, betting the "max" means more than one coin - usually 3 to 5 - which increases the payout when it's hit. For a unique slot experience try Casino Niagara's Top Gun where the player sits in the machine arcade style complete with 3-d graphics and Bose surround sound.
Sports Book: Offers 12 HDTVs and another 18 for Off Track Betting. They also show all the major pay-per-view events here. The casinos are operated by the OLG which means the sports book runs the same way. For those of you used to Vegas style sports books this might not be for you. All bets must be parlayed. Yes that's right. They are all sucker bets, but O Canada, eh? If you are still interested here's how it works:
Over Under: 2-6 games
Point Spread: 2-6 games
Props (football): 3-6 OK. Never ever do this!!!
Author's note: While I always try to be impartial throughout this blog there are going to be some instances where my personal opinion must be interjected. Since you can't get drunk on free casino drinks, I have no idea why anyone would use this service. Sports betting with odds involved is hard enough. Having to parlay two or more bets is just suicidal. Do yourself a favor and sign up at this website: Sports Interaction. Make your bets there and then go and sit in the Sports Book and watch your teams.
Players Club: Casino Niagara's players club is called PAC -> Player's Advantage Club
It is always recommended that players join the casino player's clubs to qualify for comps. The benefits of the PAC include things like parking, food, tournament invites, tickets to events and more. There are three membership levels and players have to "earn" their way up.
